Fungsi utama dari mesin ini adalah untuk membuat es batu dalam jumlah yang cukup banyak tapi dengan waktu yang relatif singkat. Es yang dihasilkan juga memiliki ukuran yang kecil-kecil dan seragam, jadi sangat pas untuk dicampur dengan minuman. Dengan bantuan alat ini, Anda tidak perlu membuat es batu secara manual dengan freezer kulkas. Anda juga tidak perlu repot-repot menghancurkan es balok ukuran besar untuk dicampurkan ke dalam minuman.
